Leon He Joins BRG’s Forensic Technology Practice in Asia-Pacific
BRG announces the appointment of Leon He as an associate director in the firm’s eDiscovery and Forensics practice in Asia-Pacific (APAC), based in Beijing.
Mr. He has over twelve years of experience in digital forensics and eDiscovery, with significant expertise in China-related and APAC matters. He has led projects in digital forensics and investigations, forensic data collection and processing, and data compliance for multinational companies and governmental entities in China, including the Ministry of Public Security, Supreme People’s Procuratorate, and China Criminal Police Academy.
“Leon’s joining follows the recent appointment of Isaac Wong in the Hong Kong office,” said Erick Gunawan, head of the firm’s APAC eDiscovery and Forensics practice. “As we continue to expand our capabilities in the region, Leon will work closely with our on-the-ground teams in Hong Kong, Singapore, China, and Australia to provide seamless cross-border digital forensic support to our clients in complex disputes and investigations.”
“We are delighted to welcome Leon to the firm,” said Mustafa Hadi, head of BRG’s APAC practice. “His deep experience will further augment our Disputes and Investigations practice—an area we are consistently growing to meet our clients’ growing demands—complemented by our deep bench of experts in valuation and damages, forensic accounting, and various industry verticals.”
Before joining BRG, Mr. He worked across China, the United States, and Canada in various forensic and eDiscovery roles. He served as an editor for the China National eDiscovery Standards of the National Information Security Standardization Technical Committee and the China National Data Security Standards of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology.
