William (Will) Russo is a managing director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice specializing in turnaround and restructuring and commercial real estate.

He has over twenty years of experience in consulting and corporate leadership roles, where he has gained expertise in financial analysis, credit rating analysis, and cash-flow modeling, as well as related policy and procedure development.

Mr. Russo has provided expert turnaround and restructuring support to both public and private companies, lenders, and corporate boards across a diverse range of industries, including the healthcare, real estate finance, affordable housing, industrial, distribution, banking, pharmaceuticals, assisted living, and gaming sectors. As trusted advisor and strategic partner to corporate boards and senior management, he has provided consulting services to distressed companies under tight deadlines and rapidly changing economic conditions.

Mr. Russo is experienced in corporate leadership, having held senior-level finance executive roles with reporting duties directly to the chief executive officer and board of directors in areas including strategic planning, capital allocation, and resource management. He is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor and member of the Association of Insolvency & Restructuring Advisors.
