Josh Becker has 12 years of experience working primarily on engagements involving survey research, the valuation of intellectual property, and the evaluation of economic issues in the context of Section 337 investigations conducted by the US International Trade Commission (USITC).

He frequently supports testifying experts in conducting survey research in the context of copyright, trademark, and patent infringement matters, as well as their formulation of damages in breach of contract; misappropriation of trade secrets; and patent and copyright infringement matters. He also supports testifying experts in evaluating economic issues, including domestic industry and public interest, in Section 337 investigations conducted by the USITC.

Mr. Becker’s work in these matters has included development of complex financial models, preparation of expert reports, assistance of counsel with the discovery process, and preparation of materials for trial.

Outside of litigation, he has performed IP valuations in contexts including license and joint venture transactions, M&A transactions, bankruptcy and restructuring, and financial and tax reporting.

His industry experience includes automotive, computer hardware and peripherals, consumer products, financial services, industrial equipment, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, software, and telecommunications.
