Andrew Cowie has over twenty years of experience providing in- and out-of-court financial restructuring advisory and crisis management services to companies, creditors, equity holders, and third-party purchasers in the workout and financial communities.
He has successfully advised creditors’ committees and creditors including secured lenders, banks, financial institutions, lender groups, bond holders, and unsecured creditors, as well as debtors throughout the bankruptcy and restructuring process in regional, national, and cross-border matters.
Mr. Cowie has specific work experience in executing within and leading teams responsible for turnaround and advisory work covering the analysis of near- and long-term liquidity forecasts, business plans, capital structure assessment, restructuring/bankruptcy planning and strategy, negotiation, and analysis related to asset/whole company sale transactions, assessment of management strengths/weaknesses, bankruptcy planning and process management, reorganization plans, credit agreement amendments and settlements, analysis related to enterprise value and creditor recoveries, and litigation support.
