WWCDA DC Chapter October 2023 Meeting

Robin Cantor moderated a discussion with panelists Ranah Esmaili (partner, Sidley) and Tara Giunta (partner, Paul Hastings) during the Women’s White Collar Defense Association’s (WWCDA) DC Chapter October Meeting. The discussion focused on the increased attention to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) from investors, consumers, and regulators and how this cultural shift could affect WWCDA members and their practices. The panel addressed ESG-related trends to fraud, Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, human capital, human rights, corporate compliance, and meeting the expectations of stakeholders scrutinizing corporate ESG performance.
