ABA Labor and Employment Law Section 2024 Midwinter Meeting

Elizabeth Arnold led the panel “The Gig Economy in Healthcare” on March 12 at the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section’s 2024 Employment Rights and Responsibilities Committee Midwinter Meeting and National Symposium on Technology in Labor and Employment Law in Puerto Rico.

Panelists discussed the use of gig workers at facilities across the United States. Ms. Arnold provided insight into potential challenges alternative staffing models may bring for organizations, existing employees, and independent contractors in the healthcare industry.
