Bruce Bingham has over 25 years of experience in business valuation and financial feasibility, as well as in business planning, investigative due diligence, and litigation consulting.
He has served as an expert witness in numerous federal and state, civil and bankruptcy trials, and in arbitrations. Mr. Bingham has extensive experience valuing and advising companies in strategic planning, solvency matters, transactions, accounting-related matters, fraud, disaster-based damages and diminution in value. He has provided valuations of private equity portfolio companies and hedge funds, and has testified in state and federal venues. He is past Chairman of the RICS-Americas Valuation Council and the ASA Business Valuation Committee and chaired the International Valuation Standards group, publishing the paper Determination of Fair Value of Intangible Assets for IFRS Reporting Purposes.
Prior to joining BRG, Mr. Bingham was an Executive Director at Capstone Advisory Group, LLC, and previously was a Senior Managing Director with Trenwith Valuation, LLC, and the National Practice Director of Valuation Services for BDO Seidman, LLP. Before BDO, Mr. Bingham was the Principal in Charge of KPMG Peat Marwick LLP’s New York Appraisal/Valuation practice. Before attending graduate school, he was a commercial loan officer at a major New England bank. Mr. Bingham has directed over one thousand engagements involving private equity, intangible assets and intellectual property, divisions of public entities, companies entering or emerging from bankruptcy, allocating acquired assets, and providing advice to boards of directors.
