As a director in BRG’s Corporate Finance practice, David Slayton brings thirty years of experience specializing in performance improvement and restructuring. He has served as an advisor to distressed companies and their various constituencies and has filled senior executive roles in high-tech growth companies for over twenty years.
Mr. Slayton has expertise in providing restructuring and advisory services to both public and private companies advising on issues related to performance improvement, liquidity and capital structure assessment, working capital management, and debt and equity restructurings. His services have included identifying and evaluating strategic alternatives, developing and implementing profit improvement plans, leading processes to sell businesses or underperforming assets, and securing financing.
Mr. Slayton has served as senior management for organizations ranging from high-growth companies to companies that were underperforming and reorganizing. He also has served as a member of several public and private boards of directors and board committees. He has a balanced, independent, and creative approach to difficult and complex situations and has extensive experience with recruiting and leading executive management teams through difficult and challenging situations, including financial distress.
