Rebbecca Reed-Arthurs performs quantitative and qualitative analysis of economic damages and evaluates the impact of regulatory and taxation policies in commercial, public policy, and litigation contexts.

She has experience with a wide variety of econometric and statistical estimation strategies and specializes in the identification of causal effects through natural and planned experiments.

Dr. Reed-Arthurs holds a PhD and an MA in economics from the University of California, Davis. Prior to pursuing her graduate degree, she was an analyst at a national consulting firm, where she participated in the intellectual property and antitrust practices. She calculated economic damages in cases involving patent and trademark infringement, breach of contract, and antitrust violations and valued intellectual property and other illiquid assets.

Dr. Reed-Arthurs has experience in fields including semiconductor technology, telecommunications systems, mobile phone technology, consumer electronics, agricultural and food products, local and international tax policy, and health and automobile insurance regulation. She has provided expert reports and deposition testimony on economic damages, consumer demand for patented products, consumer surveys, and econometric issues on matters in federal district courts.
