Samantha Stelman is an associate director in Berkeley Research Group’s (BRG) Labor and Employment practice.
Prior to joining BRG, she worked as an internal consultant for several Fortune 100 organizations, leveraging data to identify meaningful employee insights, offer recommendations, and partner on solutions. As an external consultant, she has worked in industries including retail, hospitality, and healthcare, primarily supporting clients with wage and hour challenges. She specializes in survey design, research methodology, and job analysis.
Ms. Stelman’s wage and hour experience includes evaluating Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemptions and employment status (e.g., independent contractor), measuring compensable time, and examining meal and rest break and suitable seating compliance.
Ms. Stelman holds an MS in industrial/organizational (I/O) psychology. She has authored articles for academic journals and legal publications and regularly presents her work at professional conferences.
