Since 1995, Bryan Cote has been a widely published, award-winning healthcare researcher, publisher, managed care advisor, and most recently founder of a behavioral health social services nonprofit for adolescent refugees.
He spent fifteen years as a journalist, serving as an investigative reporter and publisher for Oncology Business Review, The American Journal of Managed Care, The Herald in Boston, and HealthLeaders; and as an independent researcher for Pfizer’s Disparities Access & Restrictions team.
He has advised on approximately 1,500 healthcare transactions and product strategy launches since 2003, principally on managed care and reimbursement developments, using a subscriber-base he first developed to survey health plans, health systems, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and consumers. In 2008, he co-published one of the nation’s first studies on readmissions and the future role of accountable care organizations.
