Krishna Kamath

Krishna Kamath works on valuation of damages in matters of complex financial litigation in industries including the financial, energy, and mining sectors. He has advised clients in mediation and settlement talks.

Before joining Berkeley Research Group (BRG), he was a senior economist at a consulting firm, working on valuation issues relating to mergers and acquisitions and mortgage-backed securities.

Dr. Kamath was previously a financial economist at the Division of Economic and Risk Analysis at the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), where he was the research coordinator for his division. He was also the SEC’s representative on the Committee for Evaluation and Standards for the Legal Entity Identifier Initiative. He previously held positions at a multinational investment bank, a Big Four firm, and an international news agency.

Dr. Kamath holds a PhD in finance from Wharton Business School and a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University.
