Stephen Coulombe

Mr. Coulombe is experienced in assessing business-line profitability and return on investment, as well as identifying and supporting implementation of best practices with respect to working capital management, overhead levels, and the development of management reporting. He works closely with management during engagements and has served as interim chief financial officer (CFO) and chief restructuring officer (CRO). He has also led assignments involving carve-outs, sale transactions, and financing transactions.

Before joining BRG, Mr. Coulombe worked at FTI Consulting for over fifteen years. He also worked with the US division of Business Recovery Services of PricewaterhouseCoopers and its predecessor Pricewaterhouse. He has also held positions in the real estate investment industry.

Mr. Coulombe has led multiple assignments that have earned Restructuring of the Year honors, including Radioshack, Modus Media International, Orchard Supply Hardware, and Rue21. He has taught a graduate level course at Babson College entitled “Turnaround Management” and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association.
