NACVA 2023 Business Valuation & Financial Litigation Super Conference

Frank Wisehart presented two “Current Updates in Valuations” courses—“Business Valuation (BV) Strategy Update” and “Matrimonial Case Law Update”—on December 13 during the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts’ (NACVA) 2023 Business Valuation & Financial Litigation Super Conference.

On December 14, Mr. Wisehart presented “Discount for Lack of Marketability: Margrabe Options Approach” with Ashok Abbott (West Virginia University). They provided insights into methods used to calculate discounts in valuations for gift and estate tax purposes; and discuss current IRS cases involving the use of discount analysis.
