Richard Finkelman Wins AI Award at 2023 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards

BRG Managing Director Richard Finkelman won the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Award at the 2023 Relativity Fest Innovation Awards, which were announced at the 14th annual Relativity Fest in September. The awards celebrate visionaries in technology who are transforming industries and making an impact by pioneering advanced custom solutions, empowering clients, and forging new paths to improve the legal industry and its communities.

Mr. Finkelman’s market-leading practice deploys AI and machine-learning (AIML) technology to predict document characteristics for discovery in litigation and other legal matters, changing the way his clients handle big data cases. The ability to ascertain the likelihood that documents are privileged, are sensitive, or contain other crucial attributes can result in substantial efficiencies and cost savings.

Mr. Finkelman is also a thought leader in the space, having launched the industry’s inaugural survey on the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning in discovery and document review earlier this year.
